Keep praying for the earthquake in Nicaragua

Keep praying for the earthquake in Nicaragua

22nd June

  • Pray for the city of Chinandega. The area has suffered thousands of aftershocks since the initial earthquake.
  • Lift up our 16 church partners who have suspended project activities following safety precautions from the government. One of these church partners has sustained minor damage so ask for God’s provision with the rebuilding process.
  • Ask God to comfort all those who have lost their homes. Pray in particular for Manuel, Anielka, Hayling and Anderson.

15th June

  • Last Thursday, a 6.1 magnitude earthquake hit Puerto Morazan, Chinandega near the northwestern coast of Nicaragua. Six people were injured and taken to hospital. The government suspended school classes and they have not yet restarted.
  • Compassion Nicaragua reports that one of our church partners has suffered damage.
  • Please pray for children and families in Puerto Morazan. Pray they would know God’s comfort and provision during this difficult time.
