The first few years of a child’s life are vital to their development and through our Child Survival Programme we can reach the most vulnerable children even before they have been born.
In partnership with the local church, we provide antenatal care for vulnerable mothers, ensure children are vaccinated against deadly diseases and give mothers the skills they need to earn a living.
Together, we give children the very best possible start in life and ensure their mothers are well equipped to care for them.
Every day a shocking 17,000 children under the age of five die, most from completely preventable causes.
It’s heart-breaking that often the simplest of interventions like basic healthcare, hygiene and sanitation, vaccinations, nutritious food and safe water could have prevented these deaths. It’s to save these precious children that our Child Survival Programme exists.
We make sure we reach babies and their families early, even before they have been born if possible.
In partnership with local churches, our Child Survival Programmes provides:
Our healthcare specialists provide one-on-one pregnancy and parenting support.
We make sure pregnant mums have access to pre- and post-natal checkups, child birth assistance and immunisations.
All our families receive essentials such as nappies, blankets, clothing and hygiene products.
Support from a community of mums facing the same fears and circumstances can be vital to pregnant or new mums.
We keep our mums and babies healthy with clean water, nutritious food and extra vitamins if they need them.
Throughout everything our staff and church volunteers love the families in our care as Christ would.
You can give a donation below and make a direct difference to some of the world's most vulnerable mums and babies.Â
