What happens if I stop my child sponsorship?

We do understand that sponsors’ situations change, and there may be any number of reasons why you have to end your support. If you do decide to stop sponsoring, please contact us personally as well as just cancelling your Direct Debit with your bank.

If you’re moving out of the country, struggling to keep up with the sponsorship payments or finding it difficult to write letters, there are a number of ways we may be able to support you, so please let us know. If you do decide to end your sponsorship, your child will continue to benefit from the Compassion child sponsorship programme, and we’ll try to find another sponsors for them as soon as possible.
